Long Ashton Community Centre (LACA) is a charity, and our events are run by a team of volunteers to help raise funds for the Centre.
As well as LACA events, some are run by the organisations that use the centre.
HIRE A ROOM
Long Ashton Community Centre has facilities for all sorts of events and regular groups, including:
- Parties, weddings and baby showers
- Training days, presentations and meetings
- Performances, bands and festivals
- Fayres and workshops
- Various sports, clubs and societies
- Therapies and classes
OUTDOOR SPACE
The Community Centre has several outdoor facilities:
- Tennis courts and a bowling green.
- Play park with various equipment for children to have fun.
- MUGA for ball games and fitness classes.
- Grass area with picnic tables.
- Recreation field for running around, throwing a frisbee or playing games.
- Peel Park for exercising the dog, football matches, reading a book on a bench, having a picnic or just sitting in a beautiful space for some tranquillity.
HIRE A COURT
The Sports Hall is a multi-purpose indoor sports facility. It suits:
- basketball practice
- badminton
- pickleball
- 5-a-side football
- table tennis
- fitness sessions
- other recreational activities
There are also outside courts for basketball, netball, 5-a-side football and tennis.
